The Mike Poehlein Invitational has been cancelled due to inclement weather, head coach Lonnie Greene announced.

The Boilermaker track and field teams are scheduled to host their first outdoor meet of the season this weekend. Purdue welcomes six programs to Rankin Track and Field for the two-day Mike Poehlein Invite, which begins on Friday.

The Boilermakers wrapped up the USC Trojan Invite on Saturday afternoon. The men and women combined to win seven events on the final day of the spring break meet.

The Boilermakers opened the USC Trojan Invite on Friday night and broke several personal records. Chukwuebuka Enekwechi also bested the Nigerian national hammer throw record, though it will have to be officially verified.

The Purdue track and field teams continue their spring break trip with the USC Trojan Invite scheduled for Friday and Saturday. The Boilermakers will compete in the Los Angeles meet beginning at 5 p.m. ET Friday.
